Very unhappy with Apple and THIS game at the moment...

“Borderlands 2” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Borderlands 2” and download it again from the App Store.

I’ve tried Downloading and Installing this 10.7GB game from the App Store 5 times over the past week with the same response every time I try to launch it for the first time…

This machine has a fresh (and fully updated) reimage of Mavericks…before the reimage Borderlands 2 (from the initial download about 6 months ago worked perfectly…now it will not launch at all...
