Great game, great port for the mac, and I have always been a fan of the Borderlands Games. The only problem that I could see in this port is that El Capitan users can’t send game invites to other users for online multiplayer. It would be great if you could come up with a patch for this problem.

I am seriously starting to think they dont know how to fix the launch bug ad i llove this game so id like to be able to play it again

The game ran fine until upgrading to MacOS X Sierra. DO NOT UPGRADE to OS X 10.12!! Crashes almost immediately after loading is completed.

This game is one of my favorite games of all time. I can’t think of another game that made me feel like an action hero more than this game. The graphics are really good. Even from 2012, this game still looks great. The gameplay is complex and fun and the story had me hooked from beginning to end. The guns, the grenades, and the items, oh my God (Hehehe)! I never played a shooter with so many guns, grenades, and items. This game is filled to the brim with content. However, there is a huge issue with the Apple Appstore version of the game. Unfortunatly, for anyone who got the Appstore version instead of the Steam version, there is no public matchmaking. If they could add an update that adds public matching to play with other people, even with people playing the game on Steam, that would be awesome. As it is, this is a awesome game that I would recommend to anyone. Just get the Steam version if you want to do public matches.

The game is nice when you are at low levels, but when you rise up to lvl 50, forget about good itens, and eventually is almost impossible to finish the expansions because of that. The enemies became so hard to kill that without having good loot or drop rates before you will be no vault hunter when you get on 50…you will be just another kid in pandora. If you check online for the legendary weapons and unique itens, playing the ASPYR version…you will never be able to get it! NEVER!!!! They cutted all the fun right on the best part of the game, the final chapters and expansions.

The game is awesome, but support for PS3 Controllers is really missing right now. Borderlands does support them, so im hopeful PS3 controller will be supported with the next update.

5 stars for the game. Its fun and it makes you addicted. BUT - no UVHM - no shift codes - no physics "on" (=> limited graphic options) so far: this is some kind of light version of Borderlands 2 No multiplayer if other players use Steam and/or Windows. (not nice, but ok)

This is the best game I have played in a long time. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes action, adventure, and FPS.

This game is truly one of the best Ive ever played. It runs flawlessly on my 2011 macbook w/ retina display. I Cant wait for multiplayer and add-on content!

This is running very well on my early 2011 macbook pro 2.2ghz, updated ram to 8gigs. Even set the resolution to 1920x1200 (native to my mac). The game itself is incredible. Took the original boderlands concept and pimped it out nicely!. Non-stop entertainment. I even output my macbook to my HDTV and it still plays very well!

Sweeeet game, logged great hours in it. BUT NEED CO-OP + DLC PLEASE!!!!

This is my first venture into Borderlands, and Im thoroughly impressed. The price came down at the right time, and on top of that, ACHIEVEMENTS AND GAME CENTER. Hopefully other games Aspyr, and other companies, port to the Mac will have Game Center support, and achievements, so that Mac gamers can have an active gaming community (other than STEAM), as well as great games to play.

well its just loading and i just recently beat borderlands 1 and i hopr that this is fun!!!!

This game is a amazing! After you complete the campaign, there are still TONS of side quests to do. Even after you complete the side quests, there are still DLC that you can mess around with too. It has a different animation for almost every gun, which is too many to count. When you beat the game and all quests, you can still find super rare guns like legendary and pearlecsent. This game is my favourite game and it is difficult to compare with any others. I have had no problems with this game except for a slight framerate drop in battles. I view this game higher than any and recommend it to any Role playing/FPS gamers out there.

Apple released 10.8.4 and since then I have not expirenced one crash in about 5 hours of gameplay! Thank you once again for making this amazing game available to mac!

Im running this on a newish Mac mini, if you can believe it. Yes, I lose object visibility at long distances — sometimes enemies will be crouching behind invisible objects, which is a pain for sniping — but the graphics style doesnt suffer much. There is just many hours of game play, with 4 different character types, and a huge variety of guns to keep things interesting. It isnt overly challenging, and fairly easy to level up with side quests if the main quests are too difficult. Overall a very fun game and worth every penny.

How do you access the dlc

I love the new update i have been waiting for the DLCs to come up tiny tinas assult on dragon keep, psycho pack and the ultimate vault hunter pack!!!!
